Mold
Remediation

Mold is a naturally occurring substance that grows on most
surfaces that remain damp or wet for a period of 24-48 hours. Although most
molds are harmless, certain molds are known to be toxic and can cause serious
health complications, while others can compromise the integrity of materials
such as wood, drywall, cabinets, flooring and and many other porous surfaces
causing irreparable damage.
As we become more and more aware of the potential risks of
mold contamination, we also become more aware of the need for remediation!
As Certified Mold Remediation Experts, Mulligan Painting,
Inc. will:
Identify a possible
mold hazard.
recommend a certified mold inspector and tester to verify the presence of mold
and establish the protocol for the containment and remediation.
install containment controls in the affected areas in order to minimize
the contamination and help to safeguard the health of occupants of the home or
building.
remove
all materials that have been identified as contaminated, thoroughly clean and disinfect
the surrounding areas. Treat the air in the containment area with negative ion
equipment. After all decontamination processes are completed, the inspector will
return and retest the areas to assure the absence of hazardous mold.
replace all components to the structure with new material, sealing surfaces to
prevent future contaminations
restore the structure to a good as new condition!
